Pterodactylus kochi lived during the late Jurassic period. It belonged to
a group of flying reptiles known as Pterosaurs, which were not dinosaurs, but
closely related to them. Pterodactylus means “Winged Finger”, which refers to
the leathery membrane which ran from Its body to its fourth finger, which formed
wings.
The approximant measurements of this fossil is 5.75" Wide and 8" High
