About Massospondylus

Massospondylus lived approximately 205-194 million years ago, during the late Triassic and early Jurassic periods. It was an herbivore, which means it ate plants, and it walked on all four of its legs. It was about 13 feet long and 3 feet high, and had five fingered hands, complete with a large thumb claw.
